The Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems and Remote Air Traffic Services Symposium aims to advance the understanding of remotely piloted aircraft systems and remote air traffic services with a specific focus on the way to address the challenges and make best use of the opportunities availed by these parallel, cutting edge technologies. Remote technologies have emerged as a potential solution to an array of different challenges, extending the possible scope of operations to airspaces that seemed previously out of reach. Remote technologies have the potential to enhance safety while offering perspectives of improved cost efficiency. The event will focus on operational and regulatory issues related to new technologies and operations, building on the experiences of early adopters worldwide.
